Enhancers: What We Stock, and What We Refuse

Our standard for wellness products

Walk past the front counter at many gas stations and you will see a wall of products promising better, longer, stronger anything. Most of it is junk. Some of it is unsafe.

Our policy on this category is simple. We only stock enhancer products that actually do something useful and are safe to use as directed. If a product cannot meet both lines, it does not go on the storefront.

A good example of what we are happy to carry is Flintts Mints. They use the *Spilanthes flower, native to South America and Africa, to set off increased saliva production. The effect is small and specific, and it matches what the tin describes. The product literally does what it says on the package.

Deluvery is a same-night adult wellness delivery service in DC. We carry toys, lubes, condoms, and personal care, and we bring orders in discreet packaging. The "wellness" word in there carries meaning. We pick inventory like adults talking to other adults, not like a row of slot machines underneath a gas station counter.

The harder question is what we refuse to stock. Three categories will not show up on our shelves, regardless of demand.

Poppers are alkyl nitrites, usually sold under labels like "video head cleaner" or "leather cleaner" because selling them for inhalation is not legal. They drop blood pressure quickly, interact badly with several common medications including erectile dysfunction drugs, and have been linked to vision damage with sustained use. People will continue to use them. We are not going to be the store that pretends the warning label is just packaging.

Numbing sprays and creams are marketed for endurance and discomfort. Their entire mechanism is to mask sensation, including the sensation that something is wrong. Pain is information. Dulling that signal does not solve the underlying issue, and turning off the body's normal feedback can take a small problem and make it a real injury. We are not interested in shipping a product whose job is to silence that signal.

"Libido pills" and the rest of the gas-station counter parade are the third category. The FDA has been recalling these products for years because lab tests keep finding undeclared prescription drug ingredients, including sildenafil, tadalafil, and chemical analogs of them, inside capsules sold as "all natural." That combination is dangerous on its own, and outright life-threatening for anyone on nitrates for heart conditions. Even when one specific bottle tests clean, the category is built on hiding what is actually in the capsule.

There is a positive version of the same standard. We are always looking for products like Flintts Mints that are honest about what they are and what they do. Real effect, accurate labeling, safe at the recommended dose. If a product clears those lines, we are happy to add to it.

If a category is dangerous, dishonest, or both, the right answer is to not stock it. The same logic shapes how we handle data, which is covered in Privacy-First Adult Delivery.

Love, delivered in minutes.
